Yes, I like to keep in the know with you and Mike… ‘My Love’- continues to improve and hopefully , Darrell will be coming home to stay soon. We look forward to that day.. it has been 4 months and it will be nice to have a Man around the house again.. he must be getting better.. he is almost telling me how to drive and park when we go for short drive hummm now…..that will have to change.. I will be having the wheel for a while that is for sure. Our prayers have been answered, still a way to go, but we’ll make it.Take care and With much love —Cousin JOan

Jane and Mike, that was a nice tribute to your Mom, at Listowel 2 weeks ago, and I know that you will miss her.

Cousin Jane… Have a great day today… I got your message… and will call soon. Kev is staying here for a few days, as he is working in the city at the hosptial… he is doing some odd jobs for us, after dinner.. Darrell seems to be a little better each day, and most of his words come out right.. but some times he leaves me guessing… I wonder if he is putting me the ropes… He looks good and I’ll take him any way… Happy Birthday!! cousin jane and mike.. ‘my love’ .. is still in the ICU at LHSC and i can get him to open his eyes and he ‘ll smile (sort of) for certain people… this will be a long road ahead us , and we are still not out of ICU soooo. but the word rehab was mention the other day, by a doc.. and that gave us more hope. I have great faith and ask for a merical daily and i’m so blessed to have my prayers answer.. we have a great famliy and the kids are so good to darrell and myself… thnaks for all the prayers and notes.. hello to aunt betty and elizabeth

You sound like a busy gal….good for you. Yes, the game was exciting and A Detroit fan , now owes DArrell a bottle of good scotch..if there is such a thing!
We cooked and entertained the Vets for D-Day and I cooked a roast beef dinner for them.. about 70 showed up. It was a nice night.. I’ll cook for those guys any time. WE went to see the Hangover… sure have to go in to the theater with an open mind.. real funny in spots.. lots of ‘F” shots!
About to get ready for church, as I’m greeting at the door this a.m. Hi to Aunt Betty, and give her a hug from us. Talk later enjoy this beautiful day!

Nice day here in Stratford, now that it is June, maybe we’ll get some warmer weather.
Darrell and I are going to the movie tomorrow, and then out for dinner . Nice place in Waterloo… The Wild Craft.. it was 28 years ago that we were married ,and the weather was beautiful.. about the same as today.
We always seem to keep busy.. a lot of our time is spent at the Legion and things will slow down a little with the summer hours. The family all seem to be fine and palnning their sports and cottge times. Hi to Aunt Betty and hugs to her. Enjoy!

Hey, I check in all the time.. guess I should let you know how much I enjoy reading your BLOG.. Hi to Aunt Betty, and Mike and Ekizabeth.. Time is flying here.. DArrell is up north at Lake Vernon with his brothers for a few days.. they go to the Hired Man’s place (Shamrock Haven) and play cards and drink a few beerskis!!

Hey, you both look fab… Looks like you were having a little bubblies, and a great time.. I was wondering were you where!!
I have been sick with coughing and hacking, chills.. Where is Spring!!.. Darrell sees a specialist in London next Friday..hopes he has some results for him!! or what ever.. Keep in touch!!
