A couple of weeks ago we were all complaining about the lack of rain for the gardens, lake levels, etc. Well, of course, that has all changed and now the plants are saturated, the lawns are growing too quickly and golf games are soggy. At ladies’ league tonight, we decided to start in spite of the large possibility of rain. We got in five holes before the lightning and thunder started. By the time we scrambled back to the clubhouse everyone was soaked. After we ate our dinner, the sun was shining, casting a lovely light across the very green ninth fairway.
On the weekend we had Pat, Cathy, Julia and Mason here for a visit. Lots of fun and laughs with the grandchildren.
